Founded in 2012, TytoCare spent 4 years developing the best-in-class hardware and SAAS solution for use by consumers at home as well as for in clinic-to-clinic and inpatient settings.  Since receiving FDA-clearance in 2016, the company has rapidly grown to 120+ health sector partners including health systems, health plans, and technology partners and has doubled its revenue annually.  Tyto closed its most recent Series C funding round in April 2020, bringing our total funding to $100M+.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Payors & Providers (East), the Director of Payor Solutions will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing health plan partnerships.

The successful candidate will:

  • Exude an executive presence, being able to manage up (VP and CEO) and within all levels of the company as well as externally with the C-suite within prospects and partners
  • Thrive in a start-up environment, taking initiative, thinking out-of-the-box, and taking pride in being measured by results
  • Be ready, able and excited to roll up their sleeves and execute

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Identify and build prospective partnerships with health insurers / payors, self-insured employers, and benefits consultants
  • Sourcing and leading new business opportunities and partnership development within existing large partners: networking to identify new business opportunities, deal structuring, negotiation, closing, execution, and ongoing partnership management
  • Being the company’s subject matter expert on value-based care, health plans, and employer benefits news, regulatory, companies and contacts, new entrants, and helping develop which market strategies can be used to attract and close clients
  • Representing the company at trade shows, conferences and other relevant industry events
  • Working with leadership to expand the scope of TytoCare’s applicability to encompass new opportunities, use cases, and markets as they emerge
  • Collaborating with marketing, product and strategy teams to ensure that priorities and interdependencies are synchronized and well executed
  • Executing go-to-market plans and revising plans as needed
  • Possessing a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Successfully developed enterprise partnerships for a health plan, self-insured employer, or other value-based care organization
  • Experience selling to clinical, business and IT management within health plans, self-insured employers, or value-based care organizations
  • Have deep knowledge of the US health care system and of the segments/workings of health insurance coverage
  • Have deep understanding of consulting or advisory client management, working with C-level teams


  • College degree
  • MBA or 2 years management consulting experience
  • 6+ years health sector experience in a partnerships, strategy, or operations role
  • Start-up experience, or at minimum can clearly demonstrate ability to work in an entrepreneurial, hands on and adaptive environment
  • Willingness to travel 25%+
