They\u2019re more likely to die of chronic conditions like heart disease, cancer, and stroke, and have higher rates of obesity and diabetes. This disparity is driven by a number of factors, including poor access to healthcare services.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"wp-the-block w-100 section-\" data-cls=\"\">\n\n<\/div><div class=\"wp-the-block w-100 section-core-paragraph\" data-cls=\"core-paragraph\">\n<p>Virtual care modalities, including telehealth and remote patient monitoring, have proven to be valuable tools in increasing access to care and improving patient outcomes, and lowering patient costs, especially in rural areas.
