Sheila Freed

Sheila Freed

Director School Health

Sheila Freed, BSN, RN, NCSN, is the School Health Director at Avel eCARE, managing nursing and behavioral health services for over 135 schools in 12 states via live audio/visual technology. With a background as a building nurse, School Health Supervisor, and Director of Nurses/School Health Liaison, Sheila is a strong advocate for children’s health. She champions the use of technology to enhance healthcare access, ensuring all students have the opportunity to be healthy and safe. A 2015 Johnson and Johnson School Health Leadership Fellow and Nationally Certified School Nurse, Sheila earned her BSN from the University of Wyoming.

Heather has 25 years of pediatric experience in primary care, Med/Surg nursing, Emergency nursing, nursing management, and informatics. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) with her Bachelor of Science in nursing from East Tennessee State University and a master’s in business administration with a health care informatics concentration from Southern New Hampshire University. 

Erinn Kasubinski

Erinn Kasubinski

School-based Telehealth Manager

Erinn Kasubinski’s career journey is marked by a blend of diverse experiences in healthcare, business, and leadership. Her passion for healthcare led her to pursue an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, which she completed in just 12 months. As a Registered Nurse (RN), Erinn worked in various roles, primarily in pediatrics and school nursing, before transitioning to a leadership position at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. There, she managed Ambulatory Services and Visit Navigation Services, playing a key role in improving patient care. After relocating to Charleston, SC, about six years ago, Erinn earned a master’s in health leadership and served as the Director of Pediatrics at a community hospital. Most recently, Erinn has been managing School-Based Health at the Medical University of South Carolina’s Telehealth Center of Excellence for over 3.5 years. In this role, she has been instrumental in extending access to healthcare services for children, regardless of their circumstances.

Director of Virtual Care

With over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, Jared has successfully driven innovation and growth across hospital, outpatient, academic, and virtual care settings. Skilled in strategic operations, physician alignment, and performance management, he has consistently improved financial performance, patient outcomes, and team cohesion in both non-profit and for-profit environments. Currently serving as the Director of Virtual Care at OSU Medicine, Jared is passionate about leveraging technology and collaborative strategies to enhance healthcare accessibility and delivery. Jared holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University – Center for Health Sciences and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Bradley Anderson

Dr. Bradley Anderson

Medical Director of Virtual Care

Bradley Anderson, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with a background deeply rooted in rural Missouri. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, specializing in Radiology, from Missouri Southern State University. Following that, I pursued my medical education at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine in North Carolina, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at Oklahoma State University. My career journey led me to join the faculty at Oklahoma State University, where I now serve as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and hold multiple administrative roles including Medical Director of Virtual Care, Vice Chair of the OSUMC Internal Medicine Department, and Medical Director of the Hospitalist at Cleveland Area Hospital. My commitment lies in bridging the healthcare gap in underserved communities, particularly through the innovative avenue of Virtual Care, ensuring that specialized medical expertise reaches those who need it most.

Chrissy Kuahine

Director of Tech Equity

Chrissy Kuahine has 35 years of experience at Wai‘anae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC), where she began as a Registered Medical Assistant before transitioning to Health Information Technology (HIT) and specializing in Electronic Health Records (EHR). As Director of Tech Equity, Chrissy leads initiatives to bridge the digital divide and improve access to technology-driven healthcare solutions. Her leadership in telehealth and digital literacy earned WCCHC the 2024 Techquity in Action Award from the American Medical Association (AMA). Chrissy holds a Master of Information Systems (MIS) and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health to further contribute to improving healthcare delivery and equity.

School Base Health Manager 

Dana Ijames has over 24 years of healthcare administrative experience. She has been a valued member of Kintegra Health for the past three years as Practice Manager of Kintegra Family Medicine – Bessemer City location. She is currently serving as the Manager of School-Based Medical Health for the last year and a half. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Healthcare Management from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC, and is pursuing a Master’s of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Arts in Religion with a focus on Pastoral Care and Counseling through the M. Christopher White School of Divinity at Gardner-Webb University.
