Adam brings a proven track record of building and scaling healthcare technology businesses, accelerating adoption of innovative care models, and creating value across payer, provider, and consumer healthcare markets.

Brent Kell is the Chief Executive Officer of Valley Immediate Care, where he has led the organization since 2002, growing it from a single clinic into a nine-location healthcare network serving communities across Southern Oregon. With more than 30 years of experience in healthcare management and service delivery, Brent has built a career focused on expanding access to high-quality patient care, operational leadership, and workforce development. 

In addition to his executive leadership role, Brent serves as a Limited License X-Ray Instructor and Program Director with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging and leads training programs for Pacific Healthcare Training and AFC Portland. He is also actively involved in community and workforce initiatives, serving as Board Chair of the Rogue Workforce Partnership and SOAPP, and as a board member of Living Opportunities. Outside of work, Brent is passionate about outdoor adventure and volunteer service, including ski patrol, avalanche instruction, search and rescue, and supporting seasonal workers in the Northwest.

Carmina Lu is the Clinical Director of Immediate Care at UCLA Health, where she oversees the strategic and operational leadership of multiple urgent care in the Greater Los Angeles area. With a strong background in healthcare administration and public service, Carmina is dedicated to advancing accessible, high-quality care in fast-paced clinical settings.

Carmina holds dual master’s degrees in Health Care Administration (MHA) and Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Utah. Her multidisciplinary training informs her systems-level approach to optimizing care delivery, enhancing patient experiences, and improving organizational performance. She is known for leading cross-functional teams, implementing data-driven improvements, and fostering collaborative environments that support both clinical staff and patient outcomes.

Through her leadership, Carmina has contributed to the expansion and standardization of immediate care services at UCLA Health, ensuring they remain responsive, efficient, and aligned with the institution’s mission of excellence in patient care.

Alexandra Nassif, PA-C, is a Physician Associate with VelocityCare by Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, where she has a multifaceted role spanning clinical practice, education coordination, and project management. In addition to her clinical work in Urgent Care, she currently serves as Education & Orientation Coordinator, responsible for the onboarding program for newly hired APPs and developing provider education in a variety of topicsShe also oversees a team of Telemedicine Cliniciansand has been instrumental in expanding virtual care services within VelocityCare clinics and for patients at home, implementing device-integrated telemedicine technology and helping manage telehealth operations. She serves as Student Clerkship Director, coordinating clinical placements for NP & PA students.  

A longstanding member and prior Co-Chair of the Carilion Clinic APP Advisory Council, Alexandra has met with executive leadership to advocate for the APP workforce across the Carilion Clinic system. Her commitment to APP professional development and focus on increasing access to care is reflected in her clinical expertise and her passion to care for the community. Outside of medicine, she serves as a Lead Coordinator with Andrea Ferris Events, managing weddings and corporate events, but her favorite activities include spending time with her family & chasing her toddler with bubbles or chalk.

Nichole Esterdahl is the Director of OnDemand Services for OSF OnCall Urgent Care, where she leads operational and clinical initiatives focused on expanding access to convenient, high-quality care. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Executive Leadership from Chamberlain College of Nursing. With experience spanning bedside nursing, case management, professional development, and healthcare leadership, she brings a broad perspective to urgent care operations and innovative care delivery models. 

Nichole began her career with OSF HealthCare in 2008 in pediatric acute care, building her clinical foundation through progressive roles in patient support while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Methodist College of Nursing. As a registered nurse, she provided bedside care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where she gained experience in high-acuity pediatric nursing and interdisciplinary care. Her career then expanded beyond direct patient care into Case Management and Professional Development, where she focused on care coordination, system navigation, and frontline clinical education, broadening her perspective on both patient experience and workforce development across the care continuum. In 2017, she moved into leadership with the Children’s Hospital of Illinois Medical Group, where she advanced her expertise in operations, team development, and healthcare delivery. These combined experiences shaped her leadership approach and continue to inform her work in building strong teams and improving care delivery today.   

Throughout her career, she has led and contributed to several key initiatives, including the implementation of in-clinic virtual urgent care visits, the development of a limited licensure program, and the expansion of urgent care and pediatric specialty clinic access. She has also led performance improvement and workflow optimization initiatives while advancing clinical practice and education programs. Her work is centered on building high-performing teams, improving care delivery, and increasing convenient, patient-centered access to healthcare services throughout the communities OSF HealthCare serves.

Kathleen Hendricks is the Lead Advanced Practice Provider for OSF OnCall Connect, where she leads an innovative provider team focused on digital care delivery models. With a background in primary care, urgent care, and telemedicine, she brings a comprehensive perspective to virtual and hybrid care delivery. 

In her role, she oversees care provided in OSF OnCall’s Virtual Urgent Care and has aided in the clinical development and maintenance of several digital programs including an in-clinic virtual urgent care model, respiratory virus monitoring programs, chronic condition remote patient monitoring care management, and a hospital discharge program. Her work is focused on enhancing access through digital care.
